It all started by chance — the way the best things usually do.

At a craft fair one afternoon, Asya made her first piece of jewellery at a workshop. Strangers stopped to look. And in that moment, she understood: imagination is endless. It just needs a material worthy
of it.

The search began. Then one day, she saw glass change in fire — in the hands of a master.
A shapeless mass becoming something alive and precise. That moment of transformation caught her completely. A visit to the glassblowers of Murano left no room for doubt. Glass. Only glass.

AlterEgo was born. Asya assembled a team of glassblowers, and from that day on, every pendant
is made at our studio — by hand, through fire, through intention.

For us, jewellery is not an accessory. It is a way of saying something true about yourself without uttering a word. About culture. About a character that refuses to be contained.
Our first collection — Cultural Code — was inspired by Russian heritage: ironic yet tender nods
to the things we grew up with. Courtyards, toys, teapots, kokoshniks.

Then came jewellery with pet portraits, because beloved ones — our little “Beads” — are family.
And we want to carry them everywhere: on necklaces, bracelets, even bag charms.

The Arabic collection followed — about the symbols, power and aesthetics of the Middle East. We kept searching for inspiration in other cultures and countries, reinterpreting them through the lens
of the brand: their symbols, shapes, mood, character. More Cultural Codes are already in the making.

And our men’s line — more restrained, textural, focused on form, material and quiet strength.

AlterEgo today is jewellery with a personal story. About beauty, self-irony, nostalgia and love.
About the details that come together into an image. About you.
